Cricket player Mosharraf Hossain Rubel

Cricket player Mosharraf Hossain Rubel has been ill for several days. He suffers from a brain tumor. He was recently hospitalized after his condition worsened. Monarch Mart, the company of cricketer Shakib Al Hasan, stands alongside the ailing ruble.

Monarch Mart, an e-commerce company, has donated Rs 15,000 for rubles treatment. The check was presented to Rubel’s wife Farhana Rupa Chaiti at an event on Sunday.

Now Rubel is being treated in the hospital. In 2019 he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. He underwent successful surgery at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore under the supervision of neurosurgeon Elvin Hong. He recovered after the treatment. But within a few years, the tumor reappeared. This cricketer has to undergo another round of chemotherapy.

Rubel has played five ODIs for Bangladesh. He is a very successful cricketer in domestic cricket. He has won 392 wickets in 112 matches in first-class cricket. He amassed 3,305 runs with two centuries and 18 fifties at the racquet.

Recently, Farhana Rupa Chaiti told NTV Online: “Her condition suddenly deteriorated. Doesn’t respond at all. The pressure dropped. Then no oxygen could be taken in. Later I had to give oxygen from outside. It’s okay to reply now. The problem was the sodium was too high. The brain was affected. So I couldn’t answer at the time.
